Role: Fire and Security Project Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Pension + Healthcare
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Fire and Security Project Manager in London with a background in fire and security systems. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring compliance, safety, and effective project delivery. You will manage both internal teams and subcontractors while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage up to 10 projects simultaneously, with values ranging from £10k to £250k
- Coordinate subcontractors and raise purchase orders for site work
- Oversee projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage procurement, installation, and removal of equipment, liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Provide training, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain safety records on-site
- Develop project specifications, work plans, and produce regular progress reports
- Approve invoices, manage project databases, and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct site surveys and manage procurement of labour, equipment, and materials
- Collaborate with Operations Manager and Director to control project costs and maintain profitability
- Monitor project timelines and progress to ensure alignment with schedules
- Maintain up-to-date site records, including diaries of operatives
- Ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments on-site
- Assist with testing and commissioning activities
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience managing fire and security projects
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and industry standards
- Experience with procurement, cost control, and managing subcontractors
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
