£45,000 to £52,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Project Manager based in Bedfordshire, looking for a role where you can take full ownership of installation projects from start to finish? Technical Resources is recruiting for a Project Manager to join a well-established fire and security installations team, delivering high-quality, compliant projects on time and within budget across the UK.
Responsibilities :

Lead the delivery of fire and security installation projects from planning through to completion

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining scope, schedules, and budgets

Oversee installation works to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Identify project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies

Manage project budgets, costs, and financial reporting
-
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and handover records
-
Enforce health and safety standards across all sites
-
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project deadlines
-
Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency
-
Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Proven experience as a Project Manager within fire and security or a related technical sector

Strong technical understanding of fire and security system installations
-
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
-
PRINCE2 certification

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Experience using project management tools and software
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
