Role: Fire and Security Project Engineer
Location: South East England (regular travel to Aylesbury required, approx. twice weekly)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Overtime
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire and Security Project Engineer which will be a hybrid role where you'll split your time between project management and site-based technical tasks, supporting installations across the South of England with regular visits to Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish while staying technically engaged in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee project delivery from initiation to handover across fire and security systems
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to meet project timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits (including approx. twice weekly in Aylesbury) to supervise install and commissioning works
- Provide hands-on support with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and other security systems
- Maintain project documentation, risk assessments, and reports
- Ensure all systems are installed to current fire and security standards and regulations
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven background in fire and security project engineering
- Experience managing projects and leading on-site works
- Technical proficiency with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and security installations
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Valid driving licence (essential) – van provided
