Role: Fire and Security Operations Manager
Location: Oxford
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Vehicle
Technical Resources are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire and Security Operations Manager to join a team in Oxford. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to move into operations or a sales professional with leadership ambitions. You will play a key role in supporting business operations, client relations, and compliance, reporting directly to the Managing Directors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operational activities within the business unit, ensuring smooth running and efficiency
- Generate and manage client quotes, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Liaise with clients, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction
- Support the Office Manager with administrative and operational tasks as required
- Attend occasional site and client meetings to maintain strong relationships and ensure service excellence
- Manage and maintain the company CRM system, ensuring accurate data and reporting
- Ensure that Health & Safety and compliance standards are met across all business activities
- Prepare and analyse reports using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Collaborate closely with all team members, taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and offering operational support
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in the Fire and Security sector, with a strong understanding of industry operations
- Strong working knowledge of CRM software (experience with Simpro is desirable but not essential)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Analytical, process-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to business needs
- Experience generating quotes and managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Previous exposure to operational or leadership roles within the Fire & Security industry
- Knowledge of compliance and Health & Safety regulations specific to the industry
