Role: Fire and Security Installation Manager

Location: Poole

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Company Car or Car Allowance

Technical Resources are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Installation Manager to join an expanding team in Poole. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the delivery of Fire & Security installation projects across multiple sites, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 6–9 installation engineers, providing day-to-day supervision, support, and performance management.
  • Oversee installations across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Organise and prioritise workloads, ensuring all sites are compliant with company and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure health & safety compliance.
  • Liaise directly with customers, including shops, offices, and schools, to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and coordinators to ensure seamless project delivery and handover.
  • Ensure all installations meet current fire and security regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, assisting with problem-solving and training where necessary.
  • Manage stock and equipment requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant project documentation and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the installation team.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing installation teams in the Fire & Security sector.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Solid understanding of fire and security systems, installation standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
