: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Salary:
£32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for installing and commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
Responsibilities :

Install, terminate, and commission Fire and Security systems to the highest standards.

Work with a variety of manufacturers and system types (addressable and conventional).

Ensure installations meet BS5839, BSEN standards, and NSI regulations.

Complete all relevant system documentation, test certificates, and handover forms.

Liaise with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time.

Conduct basic fault-finding and resolve installation issues when required.
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Proven experience installing Fire and Security systems.

Strong knowledge of Fire Alarms (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Morley) and Security Systems (e.g. Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton).

Understanding of networking and IP-based CCTV systems.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and to deadlines.
