: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

£32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineer to carry out installation and commissioning works on a range of fire detection and electronic security systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations across commercial and industrial environments in accordance with BS standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities :

Install, commission, and test Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Carry out 1st and 2nd fix, including cabling, containment, and termination.

Configure and program systems to meet client and compliance requirements.

Work from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations.

Complete necessary documentation, test certificates, and reports.

Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and technical standards.

Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience installing and commissioning Fire and Security systems.

Knowledge of major brands such as Kentec, Morley, Advanced, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, or similar.

Strong understanding of BS5839 and BS EN 50132 standards.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
