Are you an experienced Fire and Security Engineer looking for ongoing work in the Cornwall area? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Small Works and Reactive Engineer to carry out maintenance, repairs, and small installation works across fire alarm and electronic security systems for a leading fire and security specialist.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out reactive maintenance and small works on Fire Alarm and Security Systems.
- Work on Fire Alarm systems, including Advanced, Kentec, Gent, and Notifier.
- Service and fault-find Intruder systems such as Galaxy and Texecom.
- Maintain and install Door Entry systems, including BPT and Comelit.
- Provide professional on-site support and ensure all systems are fully operational.
Experience required:
- Proven experience working on fire alarm and electronic security systems.
- Strong fault-finding and small works background across fire, intruder, and door entry systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS certification (essential).
- Hand tools, power tools, fire test equipment, steps, ladders, a laptop, and relevant software.
