Role: Fire Alarm Service Manager

Location: East London

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Technical Resources are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Service Manager to join a team in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong technical background in fire alarms and proven experience in managing service teams. The role is primarily office-based, but will require occasional site and client visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of 4 service desk operators, 2 team leaders, and a team of field engineers
  • Provide front-line resolution of customer queries, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Offer technical support to both customers and internal teams
  • Conduct site audits to ensure compliance and service quality
  • Liaise with clients to maintain strong relationships and address ongoing service needs
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of engineers
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and company policies

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Prior experience as a Service Manager or Service Supervisor within the fire alarm industry
  • Strong technical background with fire alarm systems
  • Experience managing teams or running projects
  • FIA qualifications (essential)
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities
