Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Taunton
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer position working in Taunton? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers across care homes and commercial premises.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Routine service and maintenance of fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting
- 3-hour emergency lighting tests as required
- Work across care homes and commercial sites in Taunton and surrounding postcodes
- Fault-finding on a range of industry-standard fire alarm panels
Experience required:
- Proven experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance
- Experience working on emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Ability to fault-find on multiple fire alarm panel types
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS (beneficial)
- Hand tools and power tools
- Fire test equipment
- Steps and ladders
- Full PPE
