Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer with experience across Gent and Notifier systems? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be expected to carry out remedials and fault diagnosis across open protocol and conventional fire alarm systems.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Fault-finding and remedial works on fire alarm systems
- Working on Gent and Notifier (mainly open protocol) systems, as well as some conventional systems
- Delivering fire system support in commercial properties
Experience required:
- Previous experience working on commercial fire alarm systems
- Strong background in fault-finding and remedial works
- Experience with Gent, Notifier, and open protocol fire alarms
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS (beneficial)
- ECS Card (preferred)
- Hand tools and power tools
- Full PPE
- Steps and ladders
- Fire test equipment (smoke poles, test devices)
- Laptop (beneficial)
- Own car or van
