Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: South Coast (PO, SO and CT postcodes)
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer with experience in fire alarm, emergency lighting, and extinguisher servicing? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be expected to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across care homes and commercial premises along the South Coast. You will be working for a respected contractor delivering fire safety services across the region.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Routine service and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers
- Complete 3-hour emergency lighting tests as required
- Carry out fault-finding and remedial works on industry-standard fire alarm panels
- Work across care homes and commercial premises in PO, SO, and CT postcodes
Experience required:
- Previous experience servicing fire alarms, emergency lighting, and extinguishers
- Strong background in diagnostics and remedials
- Competence working across multiple types of fire alarm panels
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS (beneficial)
- Hand tools and power tools
- Fire test equipment
- Steps
- Full PPE
