Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Reading/Slough
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a passion for fire safety maintenance? Technical Resources is on the hunt for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, and non-technical checks across fire alarms and emergency lighting in the Reading/Slough area.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
- Carry out non-technical checks such as AOV (Automatic Opening Vents).
- Ensure fire alarm maintenance is completed to the highest standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients as needed.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire alarm service and maintenance.
- Experience working with emergency lighting systems and AOVs is desirable.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS Check (Beneficial).
- ECS Card or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Hand tools and power tools.
- Fire test equipment.
- PPE as required, including safety boots, gloves, and hi-vis.
