Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Luton
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to carry out routine service and maintenance across various commercial and retail premises in the Luton and surrounding areas. You will be working with multiple industry manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-tec, and Gent, ensuring the systems are fully operational.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintenance of Fire alarm and Emergency lighting systems
- Work with a variety of manufacturers, including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-tec, and Gent
- Work across commercial and retail premises
- Work planning: Engineers will be provided with a week’s worth of work and will need to plan their visits accordingly
- H&S shot required before starting work to obtain ID badge
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting maintenance
- Familiarity with a variety of industry manufacturers and systems
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 (essential)
- ECS card (essential)
- AA (Asbestos Awareness) (beneficial)
- Pre-screening process for engineers that aren’t already vetted
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Battery testers
- Multi-meters
- Fire test equipment
- Steps and ladders
