Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: London

Rate: £220 p/day

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a background in Emergency Lighting and servicing industry-standard systems? You’ll be servicing and maintaining Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting systems across commercial and retail premises in the SW and W postcodes.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Service and maintain Fire alarms and Emergency Lighting across commercial and retail sites.
  • Work with a range of industry-standard Fire alarm systems, including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-tec, and Gent.
  • Plan a week’s worth of work, managing your visits efficiently across sites.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety (H&S) procedures are followed, including obtaining an H&S shot for ID badge access.

Experience required:

  • 5 years’ experience in Fire alarm servicing and Emergency lighting maintenance.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard systems (Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-tec, Gent).

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • BS7858 (vetted personnel beneficial)
  • ECS card (essential)
  • AA (Asbestos Awareness – beneficial)
  • Pre-screening process for engineers who have not been previously vetted.
  • Hand tools for installation and maintenance.
  • Power tools for fault finding and repairs.
  • Battery testers, multi-meters, fire test equipment, and steps and ladders for site access.
