Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer in London? We need you to carry out routine service and maintenance on specific sites across London and the Home Counties region. This role involves working with a variety of fire alarm systems, conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and ensuring systems are fully operational to meet all safety standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Conduct routine service and maintenance on fire alarm panels, including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, and Notifier.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and resolve any issues or faults promptly.
- Liaise with clients and provide them with updates on system health and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in fire alarm service and maintenance.
- Experience working with a range of fire alarm systems, including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, and Notifier.
- Familiarity with conducting PPMs and fault-finding on fire alarm panels.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check is beneficial.
- ECS/CSCS card preferred.
- Any additional fire safety certifications such as FIA (Fire Industry Association) are advantageous.
