Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: North West
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer covering the North West area? We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to carry out service and maintenance work on fire alarms and emergency lights. The role will involve conducting testing on fire alarm systems (both conventional and potentially wireless) as well as carrying out emergency light tests, including a 1-hour burn test.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Testing of fire alarms (conventional and potentially wireless)
- 1-hour burn test on emergency lights
- Carry out repairs to fire alarms and emergency lights (if required)
- Work across various sites within the North West area ensuring all systems are functioning properly and comply with safety regulations
Experience required:
- Strong experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance
- Knowledge of both conventional and potentially wireless fire alarms
- Ability to perform emergency light testing and repairs
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS Standard check (essential)
- Relevant fire safety qualifications (desirable but not required)
- Hand tools
