Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager based in East Anglia, looking for your next career move? As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering fire detection and alarm system projects from initial planning through to final handover. You’ll be working for a well-established organisation recognised for delivering high-quality, compliant fire safety solutions across the UK.

Responsibilities :

Manage fire alarm projects from inception through to commissioning and handover

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards

Lead and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site

Develop and manage project programmes, identifying and mitigating risks

Ensure full compliance with BS 5839, British Standards, and health & safety legislation

Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams

Oversee preparation of RAMS, progress reports, and handover documentation

Manage procurement of materials and equipment within budget constraints

Provide regular project and financial updates to senior management
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing fire alarm projects within the UK

Background in fire alarm or electrical engineering (time-served preferred)

Strong project management, leadership, and organisational skills

Excellent client-facing and communication abilities
-
Proven risk management and problem-solving skills
-
Relevant industry certifications such as FIA Units, ECS, SMSTS or SSSTS
