Location: East Anglia
Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager based in East Anglia, looking for your next career move? As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering fire detection and alarm system projects from initial planning through to final handover. You’ll be working for a well-established organisation recognised for delivering high-quality, compliant fire safety solutions across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-driven professional to take ownership of complex projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage fire alarm projects from inception through to commissioning and handover

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards

  • Lead and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site

  • Develop and manage project programmes, identifying and mitigating risks

  • Ensure full compliance with BS 5839, British Standards, and health & safety legislation

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams

  • Oversee preparation of RAMS, progress reports, and handover documentation

  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment within budget constraints

  • Provide regular project and financial updates to senior management

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing fire alarm projects within the UK

  • Background in fire alarm or electrical engineering (time-served preferred)

  • Strong project management, leadership, and organisational skills

  • Excellent client-facing and communication abilities

  • Proven risk management and problem-solving skills

  • Relevant industry certifications such as FIA Units, ECS, SMSTS or SSSTS
