Are you looking for a Fire Alarm Project Manager role based in Bristol? As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will take full ownership of large-value fire alarm projects, managing delivery from planning through to handover. You will be working for an established fire, security and electrical contractor currently in a strong growth phase, requiring a commercially minded project leader who can run sites end-to-end.
Responsibilities :
- Managing the full project lifecycle from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover
- Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme, quality and health & safety standards are met
- Chairing and leading site and client meetings, providing clear progress updates
- Producing, reviewing and managing RAMS and associated project documentation
- Delivering toolbox talks and promoting a positive health & safety culture on site
- Preparing monthly progress updates and financial reports for senior management
- Working with Gent fire alarm systems and associated fire (and potentially security) solutions
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Project Manager or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems (Gent experience highly desirable)
- Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Confident communicator, comfortable leading meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Experience managing project finances and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Ability to be based locally in Bridgewater and work predominantly on site
