Fire Alarm Installer
Location:
Glasgow
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking a competent Fire Alarm Installer to carry out upgrade and installation works on Fireclass open protocol panels. The role will involve the replacement of fire alarm heads and general installation tasks as part of an ongoing upgrade programme.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Install and upgrade fire alarm systems, including Fireclass open protocol panels.

Carry out system head changes and associated wiring works.

Work to high safety and quality standards in line with company and site procedures.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of installation documentation.

Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors.
Experience required:

Proven experience in fire alarm installation (Fireclass experience preferred).

Ability to read and interpret fire alarm drawings and wiring schematics.

Strong understanding of BS 5839 standards.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
-
ECS Fire Installer or ECS Electrician Card (essential).

DBS Check (beneficial).
-
IPAF, 17th/18th Edition, or City & Guilds qualifications (advantageous).
