: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

£38,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in the East of England, looking for your next permanent role? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems across a variety of sites, primarily throughout East Anglia. You’ll be working for a well-established fire and security organisation delivering compliant, high-quality installations for a wide-ranging client base.

Responsibilities :
- Installation of fire alarm systems, including adds, moves, and changes
- Working in line with BS5839-1 standards at all times
- Installation and support of associated life safety systems where required
- Working with fire alarm signalling equipment such as Emizon, DualCom, and Permaconn
- Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and CAD plans
- Completing all relevant site documentation and returning to the installation admin team
- Delivering excellent customer service while working on live customer sites
- Planning and managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines
- Working independently or as part of a team across the East Anglia region
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures and toolbox talks
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the fire alarm and life safety industry
- Strong working knowledge of British Standards, particularly BS5839-1
- Experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Product knowledge of fire alarm equipment, such as Advanced, Apollo, Gent, and Eurotech
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
