: Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer

Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established fire and life safety solutions provider. This is a key position within the projects team, responsible for commissioning a variety of fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, residential, and public sector environments.
Responsibilities :

Commission a range of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with BS 5839.

Work with systems including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-TEC, and Notifier.

Carry out cause and effect testing, programming, and configuration.

Produce accurate commissioning reports, test sheets, and as-fitted documentation.

Liaise directly with project managers, installation engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time.

Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.

Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and health & safety standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience commissioning fire alarm systems.

Excellent technical understanding of Advanced, Kentec, and Morley panels (XP95 and Evolution protocols).

Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 Part 1 and general fire safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
