Are you looking for a Field Line Manager – Fire & Security position working across Scotland? As a Field Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of fire and security engineers while ensuring high standards of service delivery across the region. You will be working for a leading national fire and security service provider delivering maintenance and technical support to a wide range of commercial clients.
Responsibilities :
● Lead, manage, and develop a regional team of Fire & Security Engineers
● Support engineers through regular site visits, coaching, and technical guidance
● Ensure high standards of service delivery across fire and security systems (primarily fire)
● Manage engineer performance through reviews, one-to-ones, and KPI tracking
● Oversee regional operational performance, including resource planning and service delivery
● Build strong client relationships through regular site visits and engagement
● Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of engineers
● Identify training needs through audits and provide coaching to drive improvement
● Act as a point of escalation for technical and customer service issues
● Lead team meetings to share updates, best practices, and align on business objectives
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Fire or Fire & Security industry
● Proven experience managing or supervising field-based engineers
● Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
● Experience across security systems such as CCTV, Intruder, or Access Control is desirable
● Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
● Full UK Driving Licence
