Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fire Systems professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role? As a Fire Systems Field Line Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a regional engineering team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong client satisfaction across Central London. You will be working for a well-established fire and security provider with a proven track record in delivering robust fire systems solutions throughout the UK.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintain strong client relationships, and conduct regular review meetings
  • Manage and organise the day-to-day duties and performance of a team of field engineers
  • Take ownership of key accounts and service contracts within the region
  • Work closely with the operations and administration teams to support efficient service delivery
  • Oversee all regional works, including RAMS, first-time fix rates, deadline adherence, planned maintenance, remedial tasks, and real-time documentation submission
  • Manage allocated job budgets and justify increases or variations when required
  • Conduct engineer audits, including PDA usage, paperwork checks, timesheets, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections
  • Carry out customer site audits and review O&M manuals and site records
  • Monitor supplier and subcontractor costs within the region
  • Assess training requirements to maintain accreditation and competency standards
  • Produce monthly and ad hoc reports for senior management
  • Conduct engineer appraisals and probation reviews

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Demonstrable experience in the fire systems industry in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Strong background in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven people-management experience
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships with a professional approach
