Fibre Splicer

Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fibre Splicer looking for high-volume MDU rollout work in South London? As a Fibre Splicer, you will be responsible for running and terminating fibre into multiple dwelling units, completing 10–20 terminations passed (THP) per day. This role involves splicing into CSPs, routing fibre into apartments and ensuring high-quality delivery across residential blocks.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Run fibre cabling into MDUs
- Splice pigtails into CSPs above each apartment door
- Route fibre from distribution points into individual premises
- Complete volume-based works with a target of 10–20 THP per day
Experience required:
- Proven fibre splicing experience within MDU environments
- Comfortable working in high-volume fibre deployment projects
- Ability to meet daily productivity targets
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Own ladders, splicer and full fibre termination kit including strippers, cleavers, light source, power meter and fabric scissors
- Standard hand and power tools
