Are you an experienced Excel VBA Specialist looking for a long-term contract in central London? This role offers the chance to work at the heart of a growing team, developing and optimising advanced Excel-based automation tools that improve data accuracy, streamline business processes, and enhance reporting efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain VBA Solutions: Create and support advanced Excel VBA macros to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.

Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient, scalable Excel-based solutions.

Data Management: Build interactive, data-driven dashboards to track and analyse performance.

System Integration: Connect Excel tools with other business systems (SQL, Access, CRM, ERP) to ensure smooth data flow and consistency.

Optimisation: Review and refine existing Excel models and scripts for speed, reliability, and accuracy.

User Support & Training: Assist users with troubleshooting and deliver training on new tools.

Documentation & QA: Maintain thorough documentation and perform testing to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Required Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience developing Excel VBA solutions.

Deep knowledge of Excel formulas, functions, and advanced features (Power Query, Power Pivot).

Experience integrating Excel with external data sources such as SQL or APIs.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to producing clean, reliable code.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical teams.
