Job Title: EPOS Field Engineer
Location: Nationwide (Birmingham, Warrington, Scotland, Birtley, Normanton, Bracknell, Bristol, Newmarket, Plymouth, Southampton, Guildford, Swanley)
Rate: £210 p/day
Are you an experienced EPOS Field Engineer with your own van and the ability to work independently across multiple retail locations? Engineers will be responsible for replacing in-store terminals and peripherals, working across a variety of retail environments. This is a customer-facing, field-based contract ideal for reliable engineers with their own van and solid EPOS experience.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- National terminal replacement programme across high street retail and forecourt sites
- Swap out of existing EPOS terminals, printers and DOM drives
- Training provided on-site every Monday in local regions
- Jobs logged and managed via mobile platform
Experience required:
- Proven EPOS installation or break/fix experience
- Confident working alone and in live retail environments
- Ability to manage daily schedules, log work, and communicate clearly with clients
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Manual Handling Certificate (essential)
- Medium-sized van (e.g. Transit, Transporter)
- Own tools (tool list to be confirmed)
- Steel toe cap boots and full PPE
- Black polo and cargo trousers (smart appearance required)
- Smartphone with internet access
