Are you an experienced Engineering Manager with a background in Fire and Security systems? Technical Resources are working with a long-established, NSI Gold-accredited Fire, Security and Telecoms provider who have been delivering high-end electronic security solutions for over 50 years. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their growing team in the Midlands region.
Responsibilities :
● Manage and maintain regular audits for field engineers.
● Work closely with the Service Manager to implement process improvements and operational changes.
● Evaluate training needs and coordinate technical development across the engineering team.
● Provide support to the engineering helpdesk and assist with technical escalations.
● Ensure engineer tools, vehicles, and equipment comply with all health and safety requirements.
● Maintain accurate plant register and ensure compliance with company standards.
● Identify areas for operational improvement to maximise team efficiency.
● Support the company’s growth strategy and business plan.
● Develop understanding of internal management systems and ISO standards.
● Promote resilience and reliability across the engineering and wider operational functions.
Experience and Certifications Required:
● Strong technical background within Fire and Security systems.
● Proven experience in a Service or Engineering Management role.
● Excellent understanding of ISO and FIA standards.
● Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
