We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Systems Engineer to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, access control, and door entry systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites. The successful candidate will ensure all systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards in line with manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
Responsibilities :

Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, access control, and door entry systems

Perform fault finding, repairs, and upgrades on existing systems

Program and configure access control software and control panels

Carry out preventative maintenance visits and proactive system health checks

Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and site drawings

Complete all job documentation including service reports and compliance records

Liaise professionally with clients and end users, providing on-site technical support

Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and contractors

Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices

Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, and door entry systems

Competent with wiring, containment, cabling, and termination
-
Understanding of IP networking and system configuration (beneficial)

Ability to diagnose faults and resolve issues efficiently
-
Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills
-
Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks independently
