Job Title: Engineer Assistant
Location: Essex
Rate: £170 p/day
Are you an Engineer Assistant based in Essex? We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable engineer to assist with the full installation of Dahua CCTV and intercom systems. This role involves supporting the lead engineer with 1st and 2nd fix cabling, device setup, and system commissioning on a range of residential and commercial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Assist with installation of Dahua CCTV and intercom systems
- Support 1st and 2nd fix cabling and device configuration
- Help with commissioning and client handover
- Work to site specifications under guidance of lead engineer
Experience required:
- Experience assisting with CCTV and intercom installations
- Familiarity with 1st/2nd fix practices and commissioning processes
- Previous exposure to Dahua systems (preferred)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS card (essential)
- 5-point PPE, hand tools, power tools, steps
- Laptop for configuration and commissioning support
