Job Title: Electrical Operations Manager
Location: Peterborough
Rate: £450 p/day
Are you an Electrical Operations Manager based in Peterborough? Looking for your next opportunity in the utilities sector? As an Electrical Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing an electrical upgrade at a gas compressor site holding permit responsibilities under SCO91 and ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of installation works.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Oversight of SCO91 permit on site to ensure all works are carried out within its scope

Installation of containment, cable termination, and armoured glanding

Install, test, and commission security system hardware and associated cabling

Enforce RAMS and site H&S compliance

Support wider site team and subcontractors on electrical/security installations

Maintain documentation of permit activity, inspections, and progress reporting
Experience required:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical installation (preferably on gas/utility sites)

Demonstrated experience working under SCO91 permits
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

SCO91 on database (Essential)

ECS/JIB Gold Card (Essential)

Manual Handling (Essential)

BS7858 (Essential)

Full PPE including flame-retardant overalls to be provided by contractor
