Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Rate: £300 p/day
Technical Resources are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support an in-house fire alarm team on a residential project in London. The role involves installing PVC trunking with fabricated bends and assisting with 1st and 2nd fix works on Advanced fire alarm panels with Hochiki devices. The work is in occupied residential buildings, so a professional approach and clean working practice are essential.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install PVC trunking with fabricated bends in residential environments
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix fire alarm cabling alongside in-house fire technicians
- Systems: Advanced panels with Hochiki devices
- Work in confined spaces within occupied residential buildings
Experience required:
- Extensive experience installing fire alarm systems
- Comfortable with trunking installations and working in confined areas
- Experience with Advanced/Hochiki systems (beneficial)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check (essential)
- ECS card (beneficial)
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE
