Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: York
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a skilled Data Cabling Engineer looking for work in York? We need you to join a team for the installation, termination, and testing of CAT6 cabling. Currently, the focus is on testing but also involves installation and termination as required. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across various sites with a reputable company.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation of CAT6 cabling, including termination and testing (primarily testing at present)
- Ensuring all systems are installed correctly and meet the required standards
- Working on data cabling systems across different sites
Experience required:
- Proven experience in CAT6 installation, including termination and testing
- Strong technical understanding of data cabling systems
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS/EUSR (essential)
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
