Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: West Sussex
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer position in West Sussex? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for installing access points (APs) across a commercial site, with some high-level works and occasional CAT6a terminations where faults are found.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install access points (APs) to specification
- Terminate CAT6a cabling where faults occur
- Approx. 30% high-level works and 70% low-level works
- Operate safely at height when required
Experience required:
- Experience installing access points and terminating data cabling
- Familiarity with CAT6a standards
- Comfortable with both high- and low-level installation work
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card (beneficial)
- IPAF (beneficial for cherry picker works)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full PPE
