Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Surrey
Rate: £170 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer contract working in Surrey? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be carrying out Excel CAT6A 1st and 2nd fix installations, supporting structured cabling works on a live site. You will be working for a specialist contractor delivering high-quality data infrastructure projects.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Excel CAT6A 1st and 2nd fix installations
- Structured cabling installation across the site
- High-level cabling where required
Experience required:
- Proven experience completing Excel CAT6A 1st and 2nd fix
- Strong background in structured data cabling installations
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS or ECS card
- IPAF (essential for high-level cabling)
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE
