Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Surrey
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer in Surrey with experience installing and terminating Cat6a? We’re recruiting for a reliable and skilled engineer to support a structured cabling installation project. This role requires experience in Cat6a terminations and the ability to work to high-quality standards on-site.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation of Cat6a cabling
- Termination and testing of cables to specification
- Working independently or as part of a small team on structured cabling projects
Experience required:
- Previous experience installing and terminating Cat6a cabling
- Ability to follow site layouts and cable schedules
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards and labelling practices
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card (essential)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full 5-point PPE
