Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: South West London
Rate: £170 p/day
Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer looking for a role with leadership responsibility? We are seeking a SSSTS-certified Data Cabling Engineer to supervise a small team of engineers while installing and testing copper and fibre cables. You will be responsible for creating cable/patching schedules, as well as ensuring quality through QA using Fieldware or similar software.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Supervise a small team of engineers working on data cabling installations
- Install and test copper and fibre cables
- Create cable/patching schedules to ensure organised work completion
- Perform QA using Fieldware or similar software to maintain standards
- Ensure all works are completed efficiently and in line with quality expectations
Experience required:
- 1st and 2nd fix experience with copper cables
- Previous experience supervising teams on similar data cabling projects
Required d ocumentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card (essential)
- IPAF certification (essential)
- SSSTS certification (essential)
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
