Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: South West London
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer based in South West London? We need you to carry out 1st and 2nd fix of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables, as well as testing CCTV systems, data, and possibly door entry systems. You will also need to handle RJ45 terminations and perform testing using a Fluke tester.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st and 2nd fix of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables (no containment).
- Work with CCTV systems, data systems, and potentially door entry systems.
- Perform RJ45 terminations.
- Testing of systems using a Fluke tester, taking readings and setting up the tester independently.
Experience required:

Experience in 1st and 2nd fix of copper cables (Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card (Essential).
- IPAF (Beneficial).
- Standard hand tools.
- Termination tools.
- Full PPE (supplied by contractor).
