Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer with experience in Cat5e installations? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be expected to carry out installation and termination of Cat5e cabling to support a nurse call system within a care unit and hospital environment. You will be working for a trusted contractor delivering structured cabling solutions in sensitive settings, where professionalism and a calm, polite approach are essential.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install and terminate Cat5e cabling for a nurse call system
- Work within a live care unit/hospital environment with professionalism and care
- Deliver structured cabling works to specification
Experience required:
- Previous experience installing and terminating Cat5e cabling
- Experience working in healthcare, hospital, or care home environments preferred
- Calm, polite, and professional manner essential due to site nature
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card (beneficial)
- Standard hand tools
- Battery drill
- PPE including boots, steel toe-capped footwear, and hard hat
- Presentable appearance
