Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Reading
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer position in Reading? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for installing CAT6A cabling on a structured cabling project. You will be working for an established contractor with ongoing work in commercial environments.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation of CAT6A data cabling
- Termination and labelling of outlets
- Work to spec on a structured cabling site
Experience required:
- Previous experience installing structured cabling (CAT6A preferred)
- Familiarity with terminating tools and site cable runs
- Comfortable working to deadlines in active environments
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card (essential)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full PPE
