Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Oxford
Rate: £165 p/day
We are on the lookout for an experienced SSSTS Data Cabling Engineer in Oxford to carry out the installation and termination of CAT6A cables, particularly Excel terminations. This role requires a CSCS/ECS card and SSSTS certification. You will be expected to work on various sites, ensuring installations meet the required standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install and terminate CAT6A cables, focusing on Excel terminations
- Ensure all installations are completed to the required standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to industry regulations
Experience required:
- Proven experience in CAT6A terminating (Excel)
- Familiarity with installation and termination procedures for CAT6A cables
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS card (essential)
- SSSTS certification (essential)
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
