Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Newport and Swansea
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer position working in Newport and Swansea? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be expected to install and terminate CAT6 and CAT6A cabling across multiple sites. You will be working for a leading contractor delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation of CAT6 and CAT6A cabling
- Termination and testing of CAT6A cables
- Working across Newport, Swansea, and surrounding areas
Experience required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of CAT6A cable termination
- Experience of structured cabling installations
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS or ECS card
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE
