Data Cabling Engineer
Location:
Newport and Swansea
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer position working in Newport and Swansea? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and terminating CAT6 and CAT6A cabling across multiple sites while working for a leading contractor delivering high-quality structured cabling solutions.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Installation of CAT6 and CAT6A cabling
● Termination and testing of CAT6A cables
● Working across Newport, Swansea, and the surrounding areas
Experience required:
● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience in CAT6A cable termination
● Strong background in structured cabling installations
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● CSCS or ECS card
● Standard hand tools
● Termination tools
● Full PPE
