Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Manchester
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer with strong tagging and tracing skills? We are looking for a Data Cabling Engineer in Manchester to help with identifying redundant cables and documenting them properly. If you have experience in data cabling and are familiar with the latest apps for drawing and photo documentation, this is the perfect role for you.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Tag and trace any redundant cables, identifying anything live with a socket or patch lead.
- Photograph and document these cables in the provided app, which helps you create accurate drawings and records.
- Ensure all data is uploaded and reported as per client specifications.
Experience required:
- Experience in data cabling, particularly in tagging and tracing redundant cables.
- Familiarity with using apps for drawing and photo documentation (the app to be provided is free to download).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS/EUSR card (essential)
- IPAF license (beneficial)
- Standard hand tools for data cabling tasks
- Termination tools for installations
- 5 Point PPE – Full safety gear (company PPE may also be issued)
