Are you experienced with network equipment and cabinet work? We are looking for a Data Cabling Engineer to assist with repatching and equipment swaps in comms rooms, including access point installations. This is a hands-on role requiring technical competence and efficiency.
Description of Contract/Programme of Works:
- Repatching equipment, switches, and cabinets
- Swapping active equipment into comms rooms
- Assisting with wireless access point (AP) installations
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in data cabling or structured cabling environments
- Familiarity with comms rooms and network hardware
Required Documentation/Certifications/Tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card – essential
- Valid photo ID or passport – must be presented
- Contractors must provide standard hand tools and a battery drill
- Full PPE is required (no hard hat needed for this role)
