Data Cabling Engineer

Rate: £165 p/day
We are seeking a skilled Data Cabling Engineer to carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations of CAT6A cables, including testing and, where required, fibre runs. This role is ideal for candidates with proven experience in structured cabling installations in commercial or residential environments.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Perform 1st and 2nd fix installations of CAT6A cables.

Conduct testing and verification of all cable installations.

Undertake fibre cable runs as required.

Work under supervision to ensure all installations meet project specifications and standards.
Experience required:

Proven experience with CAT6A terminations and testing.

Experience working on structured cabling installations in commercial or residential settings.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

CSCS/ECS Card (essential)

IPAF (beneficial)
-
SSSTS (beneficial)

Standard hand tools and termination tools

Full PPE
