Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you on the hunt for a Data Cabling Engineer position in London? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be working on a phased CAT6a installation project including 1st fix, Kopex containment, and later 2nd fix terminations. You will be working for a reputable contractor delivering high-spec structured cabling work on a mixed shift pattern.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st fix CAT6a cabling and containment using Kopex
- Looming cables into cabinets
- 2nd fix terminations to follow later in the programme
- Mixture of day and night shifts depending on site access
Experience required:
- Proven experience with CAT6a data cabling
- Familiarity with Kopex installs and cabinet work
- Ability to adapt to changing shift patterns
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card (labourer cards not accepted)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full 5-point PPE including chin-strapped hard hat
