Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer role in London working on a structured cabling project? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be installing and terminating CAT6A cabling to support commercial network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence in both 1st and 2nd fix stages. You will be working for a structured cabling subcontractor delivering network solutions to commercial clients.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- CAT6A installation and termination
- Cable pulling, routing, and containment
- Final testing and labelling (if required)
Experience required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data cabling
- Proven experience with CAT6A installations and terminations
- Comfortable with both 1st and 2nd fix works
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card – essential
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full PPE
