Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer with a background in high-level cabling and fibre links? We are looking for a skilled Data Cabling Engineer to work on various sites across London, carrying out cabling tasks using PECO and scissor lifts (including some manual push lifts). This is a great opportunity to work on CAT6A and fibre installations.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- High-level cabling using PECO and scissor lifts (manual push lifts may also be used)
- CAT6A and fibre cable pulling (installation only)
- Dressing and organising cables on-site to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Ensuring all cabling is installed securely and safely in accordance with best practices
Experience required:

Experience in cable pulling and dressing cables (no specific experience required but familiarity with cabling tasks is helpful)
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card (desirable)
- IPAF 3a 3b (essential)
- Standard hand tools
- Fibre scissors for cutting Velcro (small scissors designed to cut Kevlar cable)
- Screwdrivers
- Flush cutter tool
- Small battery drill
