Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a skilled Data Cabling Engineer with experience in 1st and 2nd fix of copper cables? We are looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling, including CCTV systems, data, and possibly door entry. The role involves working on RJ45 terminations and testing using a fluke tester.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st and 2nd fix installations of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling.
- Work on CCTV systems, data installations, and possibly door entry systems.
- RJ45 terminations and testing using a fluke tester, taking readings, and setting up the tester.
Experience required:

Proven experience with 1st and 2nd fix installations of copper cables (Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card (essential).
- Physical ID (Passport or Photo Driving License) required on the first day.
- Standard hand tools and termination tools.
- Full PPE.
